JLL Fitness LTD are a Birmingham based supplier of Fitness equipment ranging from folding treadmills, commercial running machines, exercise bikes and much more.

JLL approaches us about building a new website which had more focus on sales and conversions. We approached the project by firstly identifying what the current site lacked and investigating its performance and once we were in a position to advise a solution we produced a proposal which included our recommendations and frameworks that would meet their requirements.

The new visuals came quite organically and weren't subject to revision after revision which can hamper some projects. It was important for our Design team to liaise closely with our Digital Marketing department as often as possible so that the original goals of the website could be met.

JLL approached eSterling with a focus on improving the conversion rate and the year on year improvement is a whopping 35%.

A new eCommerce site and ongoing organic SEO work saw a rise in sales for JLL Fitness over the first year after launch. Along with a fresh new look the site also packs a punch in regards to organic ranking and usability.
Project Goals

Although JLL had been selling their products online for some time, one of the main goals was to bring their products to a wider audience.

With that in mind, JLL wanted the user experience to be simple and allow a simple transition from browsing to checkout on all devices.

Our Work

The initial concept designs were created following numerous ‘discovery’ meetings between eSterling & JLL Fitness where we were able to identify the kind of look and feel that would appeal to the target audience. The initial design stage went by with with little or no changes to the original design we created.

The Results

A year after the brand new eCommerce store launched, the website had seen a huge increase in traffic, sales and revenue. By working closely with JLL and improving rankings we were able to improve monthly turnover.

The Bounce rate dropped by 12%, Page sessions increased by 16% and eCommerce conversion rate improved by 36% since the sites launch.
